Q: Is
it a good professional business practice to use email
stationery?
A: Reverse
the question:
Is it good professional business practice to send
out unbranded communications? Of course not.
Branding is one of the cornerstones of any businesses success,
and is increasingly important in an environment where
traditional advertising is less effective. The number of
important branding opportunities missed by failure to use high
quality business email stationery is unfathomable.
Of course, the
email stationery you use must be designed by professional
graphic artists and coded by software engineers who understand
the many nuances of email.
Here
are a couple more reasons:
-
Data
published in 2007 indicates that email recipients are
more likely to trust fully formatted HTML emails than plain
text emails. This is a reversal of previous
findings, and represents an important trend in email.
-
The
adoption of "branded" email by Fortune 500
companies has surged during late 2004 and into 2008.
It is now common place.
Q:
I
have a Hotmail.com email address, can I use the stationery?

Outlook, Outlook Express or Windows Mail mail.
Q:

A:
Yahoo, Hotmail and Outlook Web Access Email does not support
the Composing of HTML Email outside of what they provide you.
They can receive an email just fine, they just can not
compose them. You will need to use a program like
Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Express or Windows Mail for their POP3/SMTP servers.
-
Hotmail
allows you to do this and has a wizard
built in to guide you through setting up Outlook, Outlook
Express or Windows Mail to work with Hotmail. Works great, try it.
-
Yahoo
email requires you to sign up for the Yahoo
Plus account (subscription) to access their POP/SMTP
servers. After you do that, it works great for sending
emails like ours.
-
Microsoft Outlook Web Email
systems requires you to
get the POP/SMTP server names from your I.T. department.
Once you have that, you can configure Microsoft Outlook and
Outlook Express to use them.
-
Earthlink
allows you to do this and has a wizard
built in to guide you through setting up Outlook and Outlook
Express to work with Earthlink. Works great, try it.
Our product will not work with their web-based email system.
Q:
Can I use the stationery with any other email client? I have AOL.
A:
YES
- AOL is a web-based email client and can not directly create email stationery
without using the IMAP interface. (See
AOL & IMAP) Many
email clients can view HTML messages sent as stationery but Microsoft Outlook
Express, Microsoft Outlook and Windows Mail are the only programs at this time for
creating email messages with custom stationery.
AOL does not support the
Composing of HTML Email outside of what they provide you.
AOL can receive an email just fine, they just can not
compose them. You can use an email program like Microsoft
Outlook, Outlook Express or Windows Mail against your AOL account.
Visit http://email.about.com/cs/aoltips/qt/et050704.htm
for instructions on using Outlook or Outlook Express against
your AOL account. Easy to do and highly recommended.

Phone Company DSL, Comcast Cable or any one of the other compatible
service providers you have the required POP3/SMTP type email program capability to use our
stationery with Microsoft Outlook Express, Windows Mail and Microsoft Outlook.
